Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts of various sizes by representing your team with clients externally and collaborating with direct reports and supporting positions internally.
  • Develop a deep understanding of clients’ market positions, products/services, unique selling points, and competitive landscapes.
  • Oversee client input and feedback for all projects, ensuring detailed direction and timelines are met.
  • Establish and nurture strong working relationships with business leaders at all levels.
  • Handle day-to-day client communications and maintain ongoing relationships for current, new, and upcoming projects.
  • Visit clients, attend trade shows, and participate in industry events to leverage networking and relationship-building opportunities as necessary.
  • Lead and coach the internal team effectively.
  • Stay proactively connected to clients and the ever-evolving market to identify new opportunities and ensure all potential clients are engaged regularly and effectively.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Master of Commerce (MCom) in Accounting or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA are a plus.
  • 2 to 4 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or public accounting environment.
  • Experience with financial reporting, general ledger functions, and month-end/year-end close processes.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and financial modeling.
  • Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze financial data and create detailed reports.
  • Ability to identify discrepancies and resolve accounting issues efficiently.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail to ensure the integrity of financial information.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Ability to prepare and present detailed financial reports.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
