Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate imported goods receiving activities according to LC packing list. Address any shortages or damages with CNF agent and report to Section Head.
  • Maintain records of goods receiving notes (GRNs) from various ports/vendors and report to Section Head.
  • Ensure incoming vehicles from different ports are at full capacity through physical checks before unloading. Provide delivery update reports to Section Head.
  • Conduct physical stock counts on a Daily/Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly basis, reconciling with ERP software. Report findings to Section Head.
  • Effectively distribute goods using FIFO/LIPO methods.
  • Optimize warehouse space by storing products efficiently and appropriately.
  • Ensure product distribution based on invoices/TROUTs and provide delivery update reports to Section Head.
  • Ensure timely delivery of products to all concerned parties within lead times (within four hours) and update Section Head accordingly.
  • Take utmost care to prevent mismatches during product delivery.
  • Ensure courier bookings for outside dealers are done as per invoices.
  • Ensure delivery vehicles are fully loaded at the time of loading.
  • Maintain all documentation processes such as packing lists, GRNs, invoices, etc.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (at least 3 years) in inventory management or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management practices and procedures.
  • Experience with ERP software (preferably SAP or similar).
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong leadership qualities with ability to lead a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to inventory and warehousing.
