Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform and oversee the entire engagement cycle, including risk management and control management, to ensure operational effectiveness, financial reliability, and compliance with applicable directives and regulations.
  • Identify risks, assess, evaluate, and investigate incidents of fraud and mismanagement.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and standards by establishing internal control tools across all cost centers to prevent discrepancies.
  • Prepare and present reports reflecting engagement results, and document processes comprehensively.
  • Provide independent, objective advice to ensure the validity, legality, and achievement of organizational goals.
  • Identify loopholes and recommend measures for risk aversion and cost savings.
  • Document processes thoroughly and prepare audit findings memoranda.
  • Conduct follow-up engagements to monitor and evaluate management’s interventions and corrective actions.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law (LLB) from a reputed institution.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 15 years of professional experience.
  • Experience in the following business areas is preferred: Manufacturing (FMCG), Pharmaceutical/Medicine Companies, Agro-based firms (including Agro Processing/Seed/GM), and Automobile.

Additional Requirements:

  • Age: At least 30 years.
  • Extensive experience as a practicing advocate, with a focus on corporate law, financial regulations, legal services, investigations, or related fields.
  • Training in Forensic Auditing and Fraud Audit.
  • Expertise in ensuring compliance and regulations across all cost centers, including root cause analysis.
  • Experience with commercial vendor audits.
  • Proven skills in team building, supervisory excellence, and managing high-performance teams.
  • Familiarity and hands-on experience with ERP systems.
  • Preferred experience in supply chain management, accounts, finance, budgeting, costing, and asset management.
