Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure effective coordination with branches to expand the SME client base.
  • Motivate branches and business units to grow and acquire new SME customers.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality relationships for sustainable business growth.
  • Utilize a unique sales methodology to meet the commercial banking and wealth management needs of SME customers.
  • Ensure proper utilization of credit facilities and maintain the quality of risk assets.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of SME credit facilities.
  • Monitor SME non-performing loans and devise strategies for restructuring or recovery. Adhere to Bangladesh Bank’s policies, guidelines, and circulars on SME Banking.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as regulatory requirements set by Bangladesh Bank.
  • Collaborate with other divisions and branches as necessary for cohesive operations.
  • Compile and submit reports related to SME business activities.
  • Conduct visits to understand their business, assess investment viability, and evaluate credit-worthiness.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education:
    • Master’s/Postgraduate degree preferred from a recognized university.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the banking sector.
    • At least 5 years of experience in the SME Division of a private commercial bank.
