Job Responsibilities:

  • Attend court proceedings and oversee litigation concerning loan recovery and criminal matters involving the organization.
  • Manage all legal affairs of the company, including verifying and vetting land documents for authenticity and maintaining relationships with government authorities.
  • Maintain regular communication with Sub-Registry offices, Land Commissioners, Tahshil Offices, RAJUK, and Financial Institutions.
  • Oversee the management of licenses, registrations, and memberships, ensuring compliance with consumer rights protection laws.
  • Draft and review internal policies and guidelines to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Facilitate out-of-court settlements through negotiation while simultaneously managing legal proceedings.
  • Coordinate litigation matters, liaising with external legal counsel when required.
  • Assist in contract management, including drafting and reviewing trade letters, dealer agreements, and correspondence with channel partners.
  • Prepare proposals and compromise deeds to settle disputes effectively.
  • Review and prepare legal documents such as plaints, petitions, applications, compromise deeds, and evidentiary submissions for court.
  • Maintain strong relationships with panel lawyers, court officials, and relevant stakeholders to expedite legal proceedings.
  • Draft deeds, agreements, undertakings, contracts, and other legal documents as necessary.
  • Maintain effective coordination between the court and clients, ensuring smooth communication and process management.
  • Proficiency in Bengali writing and readiness to undertake additional tasks assigned by management.
